Synchrony (NYSE: SYF), a premier consumer financial services company in collaboration with Nirmaan Organisation supported 10-bedded Pediatric ICU Ward in Niloufer Hospital to help improve healthcare infrastructure providing critical care to those in need.
Niloufer Hospital, a public hospital in Hyderabad and one of the largest of its kind in Asia, provides free healthcare for women and children. As an exclusive pediatric government hospital in the state of Telangana, there is growing demand for its services, including a need for additional ICU beds. The 10-bed Pediatric ICU set up provided by Synchrony and the Nirmaan Organisation will help support the current requirement to develop government hospital infrastructure.
Synchrony and the Nirmaan Organisation are providing 10 ICU Fowler Beds with Mattress (5-fold), 10 Suction Apparatus, 10 5 Para Cardiac monitors, 10 Syringe pumps, 1 ECG Machine-12 Channel, 1 Defibrillator, 3 BIPAP Machines, 2 Phototherapy Machines, 4 Ventilators, 12 Partitions Curtains, and 4 Air Conditioners to deliver high-value critical care to COVID-19 patients.

Earlier, Synchrony partnered with Nirmaan to provide 4355 home isolation kits for the lesser privileged families affected by COVID-19, protective gears for 10,000 front line workers at Primary Health Care Centers in Hyderabad and Nirmaan’s COVID-19 Helpline for the lesser privileged across Telangana for a period of 3 months during the second wave.
Previously, Synchrony contributed telehealth equipment, three GE Healthcare ultrasound devices -Versana Active portable to Niloufer Hospital, LOGIQ V2 to MNJ Institute of Oncology & Regional Cancer Centre (Pediatric wing) and V Scan at Military Hospital, to help treat children in need and other patients suffering from cancer and other ailments.
